Bruce grew up in Wisconsin but has called Olympia, Washington home since 2003. Over the years he’s built a vibrant presence in the South Puget Sound music community—performing in numerous musical theater productions, playing solo gigs, and collaborating with a wide range of bands and ensembles. His theater highlights include memorable turns as Roger in Rent, Claude in Hair, and both Jesus and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. More recently, he’s been having a blast bringing the music of Queen to life as a vocalist with Mercury Rising.

At his core, Bruce is drawn to songs with depth and emotional resonance. He loves giving voice to music that connects—whether it’s a well-loved classic tied to a meaningful moment, or a lesser-known piece with lyrics that make you think, laugh, or feel deeply. His performances are rooted in storytelling, heart, and the simple joy of sharing songs that matter.
